uhmm it was at the highest speed i could get it too, as soon as i was at the top of the closest hill i ran down then clicked space about halfway then when i got to him i disarmed him. then... he just kept on running in place, i can't reproduce it either but, hopefully it won't be any big deal...

hmm... I did it once using Safari on an iMac, but i can't produce it on Firefox or Safari on a Macbook. I think it has something to do with the frame rate, Flash is skipping frames because it is running slowly, and so it is skipping code I placed inside the animation... Thanks for reporting this to me.

When I disarmed that dude his body feel on the ground flat when he should have fallen down the ramp that his body was hanging over.
In the full game, make it so after you disarm a guy, he turns into a ragdoll. That would be cool if you can do it.

Well, I've been working on Inverse Kinematics and rag-dolls lately, so, although hard to implement, that is definitely a possibility =)

i don't know how but some how i ran through the wall and then the orange runner guy just keeped on falling in till i could not see him any more

i am using fire fox if it helps you with finding out the bug

o, and i was wondering how long do you think it will take to complete the game?

The how to play button doesn't work for me... Oh, and I'm using fire fox on a VAIO laptop. And in my opinion I'm thinking he jumps a few feet too high, but that's not a problem, it's probably gonna be used in some level schematics. Umm... what else... Oh yeah...

I figured out how to reproduce Keatnisher's bug. You're running, then you disarm him, in reflex mode. I think... Or it might just be coincidence on those two times. Oh, i'm doing this on firefox as well as he is.

Idk about the framerate, don't know how to check it, but it does seem a little sketchy over at the bottom...

ok. I think I know the problem. When the game is running slowly, flash sometimes skips frames, and so the actions I have in that animation frame could be skipped...

I released an update that I think will fix the disarm bug, please report to me if it still doesn't work. Thanks!

oh, hmm... just run up it... If you go fast enough, you can run around...

oh yeah 'nother glitch....if you press the disarm button to fast and indirectly the player freezes but the enemy's dying animation still occures

Hey, I found something, I don't know whether it's just a demo thing, but the background doesn't change... As you move along, the background isn't changing... I sure hope that it does move in the real thing... Also, when you use reflex mode, it's really hard to differentiate the difference between reflex mode and normal, I think you should somehow blur the sides of the screen.

Yeah, right now it doesn't. I will make a nice little blur effect on reflex mode. thanks for the report.

Oh, I did find a glitch.
I was running up the ramp on the far left near the guy with the gun, and I pressed shift to disarm him, and OR's running animation was still playing while the guy with the gun was being shot, and kept going after he died, and then I couldn't move.

Reflex mode is bullet time. In the demo it doesn't do much, but in theory it makes the enemies move slower ect. try it near the guy with the gun. Yeah, I need to fix that bug too, I've been receiving complaints and I think I know what's wrong.

disarming wouldnt work for me. im using internet explorer. also, when landing on ground, sometimes, you fall a little in the ground. it's great though, and will be at least a 4.1 when it's done! good luck!

Hey, I got a cool suggestion, maybe you could have a rocket mode, just a little red bar underneath the white reflex bar. And press the r key while your in the air, and then jolts of electricity shoot out of your hands, letting you fly for a short period of time. And instead of just recharging like reflex mode, perhaps you could add something like a power up, like the batteries from the original Orange Runner, and if you grab them, then it'll juice up the rocket mode, and you get to fly.

hmm, that's a cool idea. I might just do that...

Hmm... why is it that I take more damage from the enemy's bullets during reflex mode? Is that intentional?
Also, when you run up the ramp on the far left while holding shift, you disarm the guy diagonally.

I have a suggestion as well, could you build in a crouching feature? I like crouching to awesome music XD

This game, even though its just a demo and it has many bugs, is still very fun to play. I cant wait for the real thing!!

It's not intentional, it's just that I forgot to get rid of the bullet when you get shot, and because it's going slower, it touches you more... I'll fix that soon. Yeah, the angle on the disarm is a little different than it should be, I'll fix that too.

i don't think that this counts as a bug find but i think that it would be kind of kool if you could make the charter able to bounce off walls

also will there be collectibles i the game?
like things that you can pick up to:
improve your score or

by things with
(like by guns or different equpment) or

get upgrades
(like experience points that level you up so that you have more hit points and do more damage when you attack an enemy and run faster and have the reflex bar extend ect)

Ok, I might work on that. There will be collectibles, probably for score, but I might make some for different abilities ect. I currently have the game written so you can get upgrades, so I'll just have to put in that window and it'll work.

You scrolled the page? or just the game?

Uh, you can jump over the last wall to the left if you go to it, run over to the slope, and you jump when you get to the top edge, but jump towards the left. Wee!

I dont know what I did but I fell through the floor, the demo seems cool.

i found that if i jump while running up a ramp, he would jump strait up instead of it being even farther then just running off the ramp itself

that and it would be nicer if i could scroll out and see more of the map, of have a minimap in the corner

i know this is irrelivant to the demo, but just a suggestion for the real game
